Blog Post: U Neek Up On It!!!!

Remember the question “How do you catch a unique rabbit?”  Now, remember the answer?  Well of course … “U Neek up on it”.  The families PB&J works with remind us of this concept every day.  Not that we need to sneak up on them, but rather that they are unique individuals with unique strengths and unique needs.  When we work with families facing incredible challenges, our focus is on using their unique strengths to address and overcome those challenges. 

And the good news is that PB&J has learned from the families we work with and treat PB&J employees the same way: as unique individuals with unique strengths and unique challenges.  Each employee at PB&J brings their own unique something to the work they do and given the right environment, that something has a tremendous and positive impact on their work. 

Each employee also brings with them unique challenges.  And while it takes a bit more time, the willingness to have honest conversations and a true concern, the challenges can be addressed.  When working with families, we find that their greatest strength is their ability to face their greatest challenge.  As it turns out, this is no different with the people we work with. 

Wow, even at work not all individuals are created alike.  Thank Goodness!!!
