Jobing Description

The Community Outreach Representative is responsible for the effective and successful development of new business contacts and referral sources, as well as maintaining on-going contact and good rapport with existing referral sources. Also coordinates community outreach events to increase awareness regarding the hospice benefit and other services provided by the agency.

Skills / Requirements

* Be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
* Education or experience requirements: Two years experience in healthcare and or medical industry marketing preferred.
* Demonstrates proficiency of computer and internet applications, particularly MS Office.
* Demonstrates ability to organize efficiently and establish priorities for job functions.
* Demonstrates excellence in both written and oral communication skills including spelling and grammar.
* Demonstrates ability to handle stressful and delicate situations with tact, diplomacy, and attention to their importance.
* Demonstrates ability to represent Ambercare in a positive and professional manner. Must have a valid NM Drivers license.
* Must have reliable transportation available during work hours. Vehicle must be properly registered and insured in accordance with state law.
* Travel within the company service area to industry events and outreach services
