New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union serves the faculty, staff and students of Albuquerque Public Schools, the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque Technical-Vocational Institute, Rio Rancho Public Schools, and New Mexico Tech. The Credit Union also serves many private and parochial schools in Valencia, Bernalillo and Sandoval counties as well as over 400 other member groups including local associations and individual businesses. The Credit Union has Branches located in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Los Lunas, Socorro, and Taos.  In early 2008 we are opening our first branch in Santa Fe.

Credit unions such as New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union are not-for-profit financial cooperatives, owned and controlled by their members, and operated in a democratic way.
