Jobing Description

ARCA is currently recruiting for full-time and part-time Instructors to work weekend and night awake shifts. Instructors will teach and support adults with developmental disabilities in a supported living or independent living setting. Staff will assist individuals to live in a healthy safe environment and teach daily living skills including behavior, communication and social skills as well as community-based skills. Instructors will assist with meal preparation, housekeeping, and leisure activities. Will accompany and supervise individuals while on community outings and serve as an appropriate role model. Will assist individuals to find meaningful community activities and provide transportation as needed.

Skills / Requirements

HS Diploma/GED is preferred. Weekend positions require a valid NM driver's license and a good driving record. Driving is not required for most night awake positions. All ARCA employees must have the ability to demonstrate ARCA's core values as outlined below:
