POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides first-level technical support for desktop and laptop computers, network printers and LAN/WAN connectivity.

JOB DUTIES
1. Assist in Help Desk role, supporting users with daily issues regarding Microsoft Office and other applications, workstation use and peripheral hardware.
2. Via the Track-It help desk application, resolve/forward issues as needed.
3. Stage desktop and laptop computers to include log on profiling.
4. Prepare and install workstations on the network.
5. Assist in maintenance of user profiles, e-mail groups and user accounts.
6. Maintain hardware inventory, to include workstations, servers, aircards, and laptops.
7. Other duties as assigned.

Skills / Requirements

ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


Education: High School diploma or its equivalent. Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.

Experience:
One+ year knowledge in Windows XP/2000/2003 operating systems,
Ability to stage computers with applications and make ready for use.
Ability to set up user profiles, maintain user accounts in active directory and email groups.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Ability to communicate patiently and clearly with a technically low-level user community.
Good customer service skills.
Professional, courteous demeanor and appearance.
Strong communication skills with all levels of the company.
Problem solving capability with little supervision.
Solid decision making skills.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Strong attention to detail required.

Attendance: Regular attendance is a requirement of this position.

Bi-lingual a plus
