Bernalillo Academy is s sub-acute residential treatment center for children with neurobehavioral disorders. The House Manager is responsible for promoting and enhancing a professional, therapeutic, and safe environment for students and staff on each unit. Under direction of the Program Director, the House Manager assumes primary responsibility for ensuring compliance with individual student plans, policies and procedures, and student assignments. The House Manager models Bernalillo Academy values and manages staff with the end result being student well being as well as staff growth and development. The House Manager is ultimately responsible for the well being and safety of students and staff on site during their shift.

Skills / Requirements

1-2 years Supervisory experience in Behavioral Health or related field required.

Bachelors degree in a Human Services discipline from a four year college or University is preferred.

The ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people is ESSENTIAL.

You must be able to work with and lead a team and also possess a high level of written and verbal communication skills.

The ability to think critically and mediate is also essential. Strong organizational skills along with the ability to delegate tasks should be demonstrated.

Basic computer skills required.
