A.S. Horner, Inc., a leader in heavy highway construction is seeking a Human Resources Manager that is career driven and passionate about you they do. The successful candidate will play an integral part in accomplishing our goal: Building quality work, both safely and productively.

If you have the ability to.

* Manage a heavy recruiting efforts including job ads/postings and non-traditional recruiting.
* Review/narrow candidate pool and oversee interview process.
* Maintain key staffing metrics.
* Work with Managers to provide effective on-boarding process.
* Manage and facilitate training and development initiatives to workforce
* Work with management to align long-term career paths for individual employees.
* Track turnover, conduct exit interview, analyze data and make recommendations on corrective actions and/or continuous improvement.

Skills / Requirements

And have the following qualifications

* BA/BS degree required; PHR/SHPR certification a plus.
* 3-5 years HR experience; Construction experience a huge plus.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Some travel required.
