Customer Support Associates (CSA) assist walk-in and telephone customers with their requested motor vehicle transactions (i.e. driver’s licenses, titles, registrations, etc.). The CSA is required to obtain information such as valid identification, proof of document authenticity, required documentation, form completion and fees to complete each transaction(s) as required by the State of New Mexico.

Each CSA will be thoroughly trained to ascertain valid documentation, fulfill accurate transactions and assist the citizens of New Mexico in an efficient and friendly manner. After a specific period of time as a Trainee, CSA will be authorized to become a certified VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) Inspector to authorize vehicle endorsement for further processing of registrations and/or titles. The CSA will also be trained on notary responsibilities to become an authorized Notary Public with the State of New Mexico.

MVD Express has a comprehensive policy handbook that adheres to both corporate expectations and mandatory state statutes. Each employee must respect and abide by all zero tolerance policies set forth by MVD Express during their employment duration, including includes strict adherence to confidentiality policies as they relate to customer information.

Skills / Requirements
MVD Express Customer Support Associate Mandatory Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a full time capacity 40 hours – Open or Close Shift
• Our Work hour Schedules fall between (the opening shift) at 7:30 a.m. to
6:30 p.m. (the closing shift) – Must be able to work between these hours.
• Our Workday Schedules include Monday – Friday AND Saturdays (between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.) Employees receive ONE day off during the week & Sunday.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and a Clean Driving Record - no DUI’s.
• Must have no history of felonies with regard to money-related issues.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must have a HS Diploma and at least 1 year of Customer Service Experience.
• Must have Accurate Cash Handling Skills.
• Must be Willing to Put our Customers First and Work at a Steady Efficient Pace.
• Must have Demonstrated Problem Solving Skills.
• Will be required to adhere to a strict dress code which includes uniform shirts (with
payroll deduction) and classic professional attire that will be discussed in more detail
at the interview.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred.
• We Operate Non-Smoking Facilities.
• Random Drug Testing will be conducted.
• Background Checks will be conducted.
• Must have reliable transportation should we require you to work at any of our MVD
Express locations as needed.

Applicants may be required to undergo various tests during the interview process and may be interviewed by both the Human Resources Director and a member of our Management staff.

There will be a 30–60 day training/probationary period in which new hires will be required to train at the corporate office and apply what he/she has learned at their respective locations throughout this time frame.
