* Treats patients, staff, and colleagues with respect at all times.

* Participates in a positive and constructive manner in all interactions to problem solve operational or delivery of medical care issues in a cooperative manner.

* Is generally accessible and available in a timely manner to meet the requirements of patient-need
or on-call responsiveness. Is generally on time for patient appointments, unless detained by emergency.

* Communicates in a professional, timely manner with patients (example - phone follow-up) and medical staff colleagues.

* Demonstrates ability to change based on patient feedback and data.

* Ensures that medical record documentation is timely, legible (or dictated) and accurate for all patient interactions.

* Is knowledgeable, timely and accurate in providing diagnostic and billing information on each patient visit.

* Is able to cost effectively manage a primary care practice of 2,000-4,000 patients.

* Is open to modify approach to provision of care, based on evolving aspects of practice and delivery of care models.

* Performs other functions as required.

M.D./D.O. in Internal Medicine. New Mexico license required. Three to five years experience in internal/general medicine.
