*Performs direct patient care under the supervision of Physical Therapist per the orders/directions of physician. Performs designated modalities/treatments as per treatment plan.

*Performs departmental record keeping, enters patient charges as needed.

*Assists with patient/family teaching.

*Maintains unit in a clean and orderly manner. Keeps equipment in good working condition.

*Participates in performance improvement program, safety, environmental and infection control policies.

*Performs other functions as required.

Two to three years college level courses/Associate's Degree/Diploma in Physical Therapy. New Mexico License required. Less than one year experience in Physical Therapy Assistance.
