Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) offers an extraordinary opportunity for an experienced Senior Program Therapist. This highly competitive position offers an opportunity to participate in leading edge community based healthcare that assists primary care providers in rural and under served areas that treat chronic and complex diseases. The successful candidate will be independently licensed as psychologist, LPCC, LPC, or LISW, have experience in the treatment of substance use and behavioral health disorders, child & adolescent issues, chronic pain, and/or individual psychotherapy, with a strong capacity to teach cognitive behavioral interventions and Motivational Interviewing.

This is a full-time, benefits eligible position.

Skills / Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.


Preferred Qualifications
As evidenced by cover letter and resume, demonstrated experience with:
  • Motivational Interviewing (MINT preferred), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies
  • Personal commitment to under served populations

    Ability to:
  • Work with complex healthcare data in health care research
  • Develop and implement user training curricula for health care providers in chronic pain, substance use disorders, infectious diseases and behavior change

    Experience in:
  • The treatment of substance use disorders
  • Behavior change treatment planning for patients with complex, chronic diseases
  • Primary care settings and/or Federally Qualified Health Centers
  • At least 5 years of directly related work experience
