Jobing Description

Our office manager is also referred to as "The Director of First Impressions" because she/he is the first point of contact for prospective clients. In addition to general office managent and administrative duties, the DFI is responsible for assisting callers by providing information about our services and setting appoinments using an electronic calendar. Greeting our clients and maintaining a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere is a top priority with equal importance given to the responsibility of seeing to the smooth operation and flow of tasks associated with managing the office. This is a busy office with lots of activity which can create interruptions in tasks being performed. The DFI must be able to handle this kind of work enviornment with good humor and grace. This can be a challenge at times but for the right person, this job is interesting and fun. Our entire staff is made up of energetic, positive, skilled professionals who love what they do. We support one another and are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our students and their families. The role of the DFI is to be the "go to" person; her/his desk is at the hub of activity within the center. The DFI is a highly valued team player who is critical to the everyday success of our business. Skills / Requirements

We require:
* A HS Diploma/GED; College coursework/degree preferred
* A minimum of one year experience in general office work
* A minimum of one year experience providing customer/client service
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel (Knowledge of Quickbooks is a plus)
