We currently have an outstanding career opportunity based at our Support Center in Albuquerque. THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION, 24 HRS/WEEK.

The SUPPORT CENTER REPRESENTATIVE provides patients with friendly, efficient appointment scheduling for designated Eye Associates locations via the telephone. Schedules appointments according to defined physician template, verifies demographic and insurance information and provides callers with reliable information about Eye Associates services. Screens incoming calls to determine urgency, and routes to appropriate departments. Responsible for positive customer relations by demonstrating caring professional conduct. Must have outstanding telephone etiquette, keyboarding and organizational skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills a plus.

Skills / Requirements

An excellent customer service attitude and the ability to perform as a member of a team are of utmost importance. We see a high volume of patients, so our Patient Appointment Schedulers must be friendly, caring individuals. They must be organized, and demonstrate excellent telephone etiquette and verbal communication skills.
