Job Summary

Nuclear Waste Partnership, an LLC of AECOM, is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant IV-V in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
The successful candidate will perform routine administrative duties includes answering phones, preparing expense reports, travel arrangements, presentations, outgoing mail and packages, Records Inventory Disposition Schedule (RIDS) coordinator, schedule meetings, internal and external correspondence, meeting minutes, research and locate various correspondence, update correspondence letter logs and files, CTS coordinator, update WIPP Directory, manage office supplies.

Minimum Requirements
  • Associate’s degree with two (2) years of Administrative experience, or
  • High School diploma or GED plus four (4) years of experience as an Administrative Assistant is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have good written and oral communications.
  • Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be US Citizens.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Business or other related field is preferred.
  • Experience or training in procurement of goods and services, performing office warden duties, and coordinating training would be a plus.
  • Working knowledge of the WIPP facility, its mission and the National TRU Program scope is desired.
