Nuclear Waste Partnership, an LLC of AECOM, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Instructor-Analyst/Developer in Carlsbad, New Mexico.  

The successful candidate will perform Maintenance training in a classroom and or field/work setting.  Produce training products (classroom, field and self-paced) using the ADDIE model of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) as required by DOE 0 426.2 in support of a nuclear operating facility.  Perform training determinations in ascertaining whether or not information and or skills require formal or informal training.  Interface with Technical Training Instructors and SME's as necessary during the Analysis, Design and Development phases of new or revised training creation.  Ensure all training meets or exceeds applicable Orders, Standards and HDBKS.  Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovativeness.   Work under consultative direction toward long-range goals and objectives. The Maintenance Instructor will receive MSHA Safety training in order to perform underground facility walk-downs, from which they will use their observations to incorporate human factors standards, performance capabilities and technical accuracy.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree, plus ten (10) years relevant experience, or
  • Associate's Degree plus fourteen (14) years of related experience, or
  • High School Diploma or GED with eighteen (18) years of related experience is required.
  • Ten (10) years working with Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance and I&C personnel and organizations.
  • Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be US Citizens.

Preferred Qualifications
  • DOE/Commercial Nuclear experience preferred.
  • Previous Training experience is a plus.
  • Journeyman license in Electrical, Mechanical or I&C is desired.
  • Computer use and database skills is preferred.
  • Previous WIPP experience is preferred.
