The College of Business at Eastern New Mexico University seeks candidates for a full-time position in the field of Finance to teach in Corporate Finance and Personal Financial Planning. This is a residential appointment starting August 2020, with candidate expected to relocate to the Portales, NM area. Publication is required for tenure. The college provides quality, student focused business education preparing individuals for professional careers, graduate studies, and lifelong learning.
|Duties and Responsibilities:|
Faculty responsibilities include but are not limited to:
A Ph.D. in Finance or Personal Financial Planning is required, though ABD will be considered with experience and teaching preference in the field of Corporate Finance, Financial Modeling, Investments, and Personal Finance. University teaching, relevant work experience and CFP® preferred. Teaching experience in Web-based instruction and/or distance education is highly desirable.
The position requires the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
