Job Title:Project Director, Title V Cooperative
Salary:Depends on Qualifications
Job Type:Full time permanent
Location: Main Campus - Portales, New Mexico
Position Summary
Under limited direction, direct, administer and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Title V Cooperative Project.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all project-related activities on ENMU and CCC campuses
  • Communicate regularly with counterparts at Clovis Community College
  • Collaborate with the internal and external evaluators to collect, analyze, and make decisions from project data
  • Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations and grant guidelines
  • Monitor project budget and progress on grant objectives and measures
  • Provide weekly updates to oversight administrator and quarterly updates to the administrative teams of the partner institutions
  • Hire grant-funded positions; provide orientation, supervision and direction to personnel
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 
Minimum Job Requirements:
Master's degree with a minimum of five (5) years in higher education, budget and personnel management. Federal program experience desirable. Demonstrated organizational skills, communication skills, and experience working with disadvantages populations and/or at-risk students. Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.  
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
  • Ability to communicate effectively (English/Spanish preferred), orally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently, exercise creativity, be attentive to detail, and maintain a positive attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and to prioritize scheduling of work
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and administrators at both institutions

 Working Conditions:
Physical Demand and Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed during normal work hours but may require evening and weekend hours to meet set deadlines
  • Work is sedentary in nature that at times requires exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
