The Department of Pediatrics is recruiting a full-time Administrative Assistant 3 to join a spirited team. This position will be part of a Administrative Shared Services administrative support team, providing support to the Department of Pediatrics’ Divisions, Physicians, and Patients. This position will perform operational support activties required by Divisions, special projects, information gathering and analyzing, and inventory control. Duties will include; purchasing, calendaring/scheduling, answering phone calls, including patient calls, maintaining files. Other duties will be composing communications, faxing correspondence, sorting and screening mail, and updating patient charts.
|Conditions of Employment|
High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
|Additional Requirements||This position will require a pre-employment criminal background check and fingerprinting. Future and/or continued employment in the position is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining a satisfactory background check, which is one that does not include any disqualifying findings.|
