|Working Title||Office Assistant (UNMTemps)|
The University of New Mexico Admissions Office is seeking temporary Office Assistants to assist with the busy fall admissions period. Admissions is the first point of contact for future & returning students and thus applications need to be processed in a timely manner.
· Processes applications and student records both quickly and accurately.
· Coordinates and performs the preparation, data entry, verification, and editing of complex, typically confidential data.
· Interacts with other departments to resolve problems and inquires, and to establish and maintain efficient data and information flow.
· Operates as a primary source of information on specialized data files and records for both internal and external clientele.
· Resolves problems and inconsistencies with data, performs limited data analysis.
Days & Hours: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm for up to a 6 month assignment. Hours and days may vary.
Anticipated Start Date: 9/3/19
Projected End Date: 3/2/20
Parking Arrangements: Responsibility of the selected employee
UNMTemps provides staffing solutions to UNM departments requesting temporary employees as positions become available due to a vacancy, when regular employees are absent, for peak work periods, and for special events. As such, UNMTemps assignments/positions may end with little or no advance notice.
|Conditions of Employment|
High School Diploma or GED; no previous experience required.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
